Officials From Graphic Communication Groups Limited Call On The Vice-Chancellor
A two-member delegate from the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL), led by Mr. Kobby Asmah on Friday, August 26, 2022, paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. J. D. Owusu-Sekyere. The spokesperson of the delegation, Ms. Shirley Asiedu Addo who is also the Central Regional Correspondent of the Graphic Communications Group Limited, indicated that the visit was to introduce their Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Koby Asmah, to the Management of the University.
Mr. Kobby Asmah, Editor-in-Chief of the GCGL explained that the import of his visit to Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) was to deepen the partnership that exists between the Group and CCTU and also solicit the support of the University to assist GCGL to disseminate the success stories in the Central Region.
The Editor-in-Chief indicated that CCTU was one of the major stakeholders of the Group and requested that the two organizations share resources in the area of provision of data on the University’s experts who can be interviewed by the GCGL to express their opinions on national issues to ensure accountability of our leaders. He, therefore, implored the Management of the University to take advantage of their well-patronage pages such as Content Marketing and Predictive Articles to promote the activities of CCTU and technical education to the outside world.
On his part, the Vice-Chancellor of Cape Coast Technical University, Rt. Rev. Ing. Prof. Joshua Danso Owusu-Sekyere, expressed Management’s appreciation to Mr. Kobby Asmah and his team for their visit and indicated the Institution’s willingness to share her experts with GCGL to assist the Group to churn out accurate and factual news. The Vice-Chancellor further indicated that the University will continue to subscribe to the Daily Graphic, advertise in the Dailies and invite Correspondents of GCGL to cover its major events such as Congregation and Matriculation ceremonies to deepen its partnership with the Group.
In his closing remarks, the leader of the team, Mr. Kobby Asmah, thanked the Vice-Chancellor of the University for making time to meet with them and assured the University of their total support as it strives to grow its fortunes.
