CCTU SECURES TWO MAJOR DONATIONS FROM LOCAL BUSINESSES
Well-wishers and the general public continue to donate to the Cape Coast Technical University ahead of the climax of its 40th Anniversary. The University which was established in 1984 with a population of Twenty-four (24) now has a student population of about Five Thousand (5,000). The increase in enrollment meant more infrastructure had to be built to accommodate the numbers.
For this reason, the Institution sought to address the problem by building a hostel facility termed the Legacy Project and sought for donations to make this happen. This call saw a government nominee to the Cape Coast Technical University Governing Council and CEO of ADK Consortium, a Consultancy Firm in Ghana, Ing. Dr. Michael Krakue, donating an amount of GH ¢80,000 as seed money to kick start the University’s 40th Anniversary Fundraising Event.
