CCTU MANAGEMENT MEET WITH UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES, BOCHUM, GERMANY
Management of Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU), met with a delegation from the University of Applied Sciences, Bochum, Germany, at the University’s Council Chamber.
The meeting was geared towards the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development of Master's Degree Programme in Renewable Energy (Hydrogen Technology), capacity building for faculty and students in Hydrogen Technology, online teaching and learning support modules and also to build a prototype Hydrogen Technology System on campus to support teaching and learning.
Prof. Dr. Ing. Semih Severengiz from the University of Applied Sciences, Bochum, Germany, who presented the collaboration outline to CCTU Management, expressed optimism for both parties as the long-term initiative aims at increasing the adoption of renewable energy sources and enhancing energy security in Ghana and beyond.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kwaku Adutwum Ayim Boakye expressed his excitement about the collaboration, highlighting its potential to fill the void in Renewable Energy (Hydrogen Technology) on campus. The meeting concluded with optimism, as both parties looked forward to signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize the partnership.
