Office of the Pro Vice Chancellor
The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor oversees the Academic Affairs of the University. The Office specifically spearheads all the academic programmes, educational opportunities, and university research.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor heads the Office and reports to the Vice-Chancellor. He is responsible for providing strategic leadership in areas such as:
- Academic Policy Development and Implementation
- Academic Development Support
- Teaching Performance
- Academic Planning and Quality Assurance
He also performs other functions as prescribed in the University Statutes. He chairs a number of boards and committees in the University including the Disciplinary Committee, Administration Appointments and Promotions Sub-Committee, Academic Affairs Committee, Works and Development Committee, and Residence and Housing Committee.
