Warmest greetings from the School of Engineering, Cape Coast Technical University.

Since it establishment in 1994, the School has provided engineering and technological training to more than two thousand (2000) graduates.

Our vision is to be a center of excellence for practical training and research that significantly contribute to green technological advancements.

The school has four (4) Academic departments: Civil Engineering,

Electrical /Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy Technology.

Current programmes includes Master of Technology (M-Tech), Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech), Higher National Diploma (HND) and Diploma.

We offer students’ world – class facilities such as ultra-modern laboratories and workshops which gives them the opportunity to have a hands on experience.  Our faculty members are also poised to provide an atmosphere where academic excellence thrives.

INTRODUCTION OF THE SCHOOL

The School of Engineering (SOE) was established in 1994. SOE began with Three (3) Academic Departments: Building Technology & Civil Engineering, Electrical/ Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

The Department of Building Technology & Civil Engineering was split in June 2006. 

In 2021, the Building Technology Dept. was constituted into a School whilst the Department of Renewable Energy Technology was formed. Current Programmes include Master of Technology (M-Tech), Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech), Higher National Diploma (HND) and Diploma.

To provide high-quality training, research and Innovation in the field of engineering and green technologies.

VISION STATEMENT

To be a centre of excellence for practical training and research that significantly contributes to green technological advancements.
