I receive, especially the first year students and also welcome the continuing students to the departments of Hospitality Management, Mathematics and Statistics, Food Sciences and Postharvest Technology and Computer Science and Technology, where you have all the opportunity to excel for the 2023 and 2024 Academic year.
As the most diverse School at Cape Coast Technical University, we take pride in offering a wide range of academic programs purposely designed to engage the minds of our students to position them for success in the community of practice. In our quest to motivate you to engage your intellect, interests and passions in ways that will give you a hunger for lifelong learning and service, we have developed student centred and industry driven curricular to facilitate the learning process.
As junior members of our School, we expect your maximum cooperation to facilitate a warm and engaging atmosphere that provides a home away from home for you. We fervently hope that you will take advantage of the rich research and academic experience of our accomplished faculty members and fully engage in internships and community service.

INTRODUCTION
The School of Applied Sciences and Technology (SAST) emerged out of the School of Applied Sciences and Arts (SASA) in September 2020. This was done when a new Department, Department of Food Science and Postharvest Technology was created and in conformity with the institution’s vision of expanding Cape Coast Technical University. Departments that were offering Applied Sciences and Technology related programmes were segregated from those involved in Applied Arts.
