On April 3, 2023, a delegation from Southern University at New Orleans, USA paid a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor, Rt. Rev. Joshua Danso Owusu-Sekyere. The Registrar, had the pleasure of welcoming the delegation to Cape Coast Technical University.

The visit was to explore the potentials of collaborating with CCTU in the areas of Research, Education and Exchange Programme.

The staff of the Department of Tourism and the delegation from Southern University, New Orleans, USA, led by Professor Haitham Eid, had a very fruitful discussion regarding the collaboration.

Both universities were thrilled regarding the productive exchange and looked forward to continue to engage each other to bring into reality the shared goals.

Present at the meeting were Head of Tourism Department, Mr. Ato Anaman, Director of Open and Distance Learning, Mr. Michael Kissi, Mr. Franklin Dacosta, Dr. Richmond Yeboah and other members of staff. Also present were the Director of International and Institutional Linkages, Dr. Benjamin C. Ampimah and Mr. Benjamin Edu-Mensah, Director of Public Affairs.
