The Department of Hospitality Management of the Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) organised an end-of-semester practical exhibition on February 20, 2025, to showcase their culinary and hospitality management skills. The event, held at the University's Hospitality Management Training Center, was a culmination of the students' hard work and dedication throughout the semester.

The exhibition featured a wide range of dishes, from traditional Ghanaian cuisine to international delicacies, all prepared and presented by the students. The event also included a mock hotel reception, where students demonstrated their front-desk management skills, as well as a tour of the University's state-of-the-art hospitality management training facilities.

Dr. Mrs. Augustina Sackle Sackey, Head of the Department of Hospitality Management, welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of practical training in hospitality management. "At CCTU, we believe that hands-on experience is essential for our students to succeed in the hospitality industry. This exhibition is a testament to our students' hard work and dedication to mastering their craft", she said.

Faculty members and other guests judged the students' dishes. The exhibition also provided an opportunity for the students to network with industry professionals and potential employers. Many of the students expressed their gratitude for the experience, citing it as a valuable learning opportunity.

The end-of-semester practical exhibition is an annual event at the Hospitality Management Department of CCTU, designed to provide students with a platform to showcase their skills and gain practical experience. The event is proof of the University's commitment to providing its students with hands-on training and real-world experience.
