CCTU TO HOST 3RD GHATUSA GAMES IN CAPE COAST
The Cape Coast Technical University is set to host the third (3rd) Ghana Technical University Sports Association (GHATUSA) Games in Cape Coast, the Central Regional capital.
The event will be formally opened by Honorable Kofi Iddie Adams, the Minister for Sports and Recreation, with a ceremonial kickoff during the opening ceremony to be held at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Monday, April 7, 2025.
The GHATUSA Games which will be held from Thursday, April 3, 2025, to Sunday, April 13, 2025, will bring together ten Technical Universities in Ghana. It will offer students the opportunity to compete in various sporting disciplines including football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, athletics, and taekwondo, while fostering national unity and school pride.
This year’s edition is expected to attract over 15,000 participants, including athletes, game officials, students, alumni, and members of the public.
The GHATUSA Games is one of the important platforms for identifying and nurturing sports potentials in Ghana.
