CCTU COUNCIL MEMBER DONATES GH ¢80,000 TOWARDS ENDOWMENT FUND
A Government Nominee to the Cape Coast Technical University Governing Council and CEO of ADK Consortium, a Consultancy Firm in Ghana, Ing. Dr. Michael Krakue, has donated an amount of GH ¢80,000 as seed money to kickstart the University’s 40th Anniversary Fundraising Event.
In a brief ceremony at the Ridge Royal Hotel in Cape Coast, on 26th September, 2024, Ing. Dr. M. Krakue indicated that the donation was driven by the desire to give the CCTU Main Administration Block a facelift.
He said, “looking at the critical role CCTU plays in the region, there is the need to help bridge the infrastructural gap in the University”.
He, however, called on all well-meaning Ghanaians and individuals to join in raising funds to support the Cape Coast Technical University.
Prof. Kweku Adutwum Ayim Boakye, the Vice-Chancellor, received the donation on behalf of the University Management and expressed his appreciation to Ing. Dr. Michael Krakue. He added that the donation was timely, as it was going to set the tone for the University’s Endowment Fundraising Campaign slated for November 8, 2024.
Some University Council members, University Management and Media crew were present at the donation ceremony.
