Cape Coast Technical University Officially Launches its 40th Anniversary Logo and Celebration.
On Thursday, February 29, 2024, CCTU launched its 40th anniversary and logo, respectively. The Anniversary is to mark the extraordinary achievements made by the University in empowering its students and preparing them for national and global development. Since its inception, not only has CCTU championed quality education, nurtured entrepreneurial spirit, and equipped its graduates with the skills needed to excel in the technical and vocational domains, but also creativity to provide sustainable solutions for communities and industries within the country and the sub-region.
The Theme for the Anniversary is “40 Years of Quality Entrepreneurial-Oriented Technical and Vocational Education: Expanding the Frontiers of Renewable Energy.” The anniversary is not just about CCTU's past achievements, but about the promise that lies ahead. It is a celebration of the countless individuals who have made CCTU what it is today.
Present to grace the occasion included Rev. Prof. Harold S. Amonoo-Kuofi (Chairman of the Governing Council); Prof. Kwaku Adutwum Ayim Boakye (Vice-Chancellor); Prof. Lawrence Atepor (Ag. Pro Vice-Chancellor); Dr. Anthony H. Turkson (Registrar); Surv. Dr. John Kofi Borsah (Former Rector); Dr. Francis Narh Akrono (Former Registar); Dr. Richard S. Nsiah-Agyeman (Rep. for the CEO COA Manufacturing Company Ltd); Queen Mother of Dahia (Rep. for the Oman Hene of Oguaa Traditional Area); some other dignitaries and chiefs from the University Community.
