The University under the auspices of the Directorate of Human Resource organized a befitting send off for five (5)   workers on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the Building Auditorium.

The ceremony was held to acknowledge the hard work of the retirees and especially to bid them farewell as they exit the world of work. The retirees are Mrs. Gloria Baiden Koomson, Ing. Daniel Yaw Osei, Mr. George Coleman, Mr. Michael Avasi and Mr. Thomas Nyame.

The programme was chaired by the Vice- Chancellor, Rt. Rev. Ing. Prof. Joshua Danso Owusu-Sekyere and was supported by the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Samuel K. Ansah; the Registrar, Dr. Francis N. Akrono and Rev. Haruna Ndebugri, the University Chaplain.

The Vice- Chancellor in a brief comment expressed his gratitude to the retirees for their immense contribution to the University. He wished them long life and good health as they retire from active service. He further informed the retirees not to hesitate to visit the institution anytime they wished.

The ceremony was well attended by staff of the University, families and friends of the retirees. Presentations were made by management and the various associations to the retirees. The send-off ceremony was indeed a colourful one.
