PROFESSORIAL INAUGURAL LECTURE

Management of the University as its custom of outdooring and showcasing academics, organised its 2nd Professorial Inaugural Lecture on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at the GNAT Hall.

The Inaugural Lecture was delivered on the topic; Complex Nonlinear Green Energy Technology: Exploring the Nexus To Grid Integration For Economic Health, by Professor Lawrence Atepor, a professor of Dynamics and Renewable Energy, Dean of the School of Engineering and the Acting Pro Vice-Chancellor.

The Vice-Chancellor of CCTU, Prof. Kwaku A. A. Boakye who chaired the occasion welcomed the guests and could not hide his joy that Cape Coast Technical University was the first among the Technical Universities in Ghana to organise a second successful Inaugural Lecture. He assured the audience that many of such lectures would be organised in the coming years.

Among the dignitaries who graced the Lecture were; Hon. Dr. Kwamena Minta Nyarku (MP, Cape Coast North Constituency), Nana Amba Eyiaba I (Krontihemaa, Oguaa Traditional Council), Prof. Sam Amoah (UCC), Prof. D.D. Kuupole (former VC, UCC), Prof. Francis Forson (KNUST), Prof Abdulai Salifu Asuro (TaTU), Prof. Joseph Mojekwu (Nigeria), Prof. Bashir Gariba (Nigeria), Rev. Prof. John Eshun (VC, TTU), Dr. John K. Borsah (former Rector, CCTU), Dr. Francis N. Akrono (former Registrar, CCTU), Dr. Moses Abnory (Registrar, TTU), Dr. Anthony H. Turkson (Registrar, CCTU), Directors, Deans and staff of the University. In attendance were also the family members of the speaker.
