CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: CCTU PARTNERS NATIONAL PENSIONS REGULATORY AUTHORITY

The Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) has partnered the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA), Cape Coast Zone, on a five-day Continuous Professional Development (CPD), to train staff of NPRA, aimed at equipping them with enhanced financial practices, managerial, investigative and customer skills.

The training, which officially began on 25th June, 2025, was held at the NPRA conference Room. It brought together participants from various operational units of the Cape Coast Zone of NPRA.
Dr. Derick Agyei Gyamfi, a Senior Lecturer at the School of Business and Management Studies, CCTU, who represented the Vice-Chancellor of CCTU, Prof. Kwaku Adutwum Ayim Boakye, underscored the University's commitment to building strategic partnership with corporate institutions to promote knowledge transfer, upskilling and institutional development.




He noted that such training sessions, reflected the University’s mandate of bridging the gap between the academia and industry, particularly in strengthening public administration and service delivery in Ghana.
The training was a combination of expert-led presentations, case study discussions, and role-play. The team of facilitators for the five-day Continuous Professional Development was led by Prof. Eugene Acheampong, Dean of the School of Business and Management Studies.
