From CCTU to Hochschule Düsseldorf – University of Applied Sciences: Two Undergraduate Students set for Erasmus Exchange Programme in Germany

On Wednesday, March  4, 2026,  two (2) undergraduate students, namely; Fidel Baah-Dwase a Level 300 B.Tech Renewable Energy Technology,  and  Joseph Amudzi, a Level 400 B.Tech Mechanical Engineering(Auto Option), paid a courtesy call on  the Directorate of International Programmes and Institutional Linkages, at Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) ahead of their departure for a 12months Erasmus Exchange Programme in Hochschule Düsseldorf – University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

Professor Ben Ebo Attom, Dean of the Directorate of International Programmes and Institutional Linkages, congratulated the students on their selection, describing it as both a privilege and a responsibility. The students were encouraged to embrace cultural diversity, remain disciplined and make the most of the opportunities ahead of them.

The Erasmus Exchange Programme is a top-ranking EU-funded initiative which enables students to study in another country for 2–12 months, providing monthly grants to cover living and tuition cost at the host institution. It is one of the avenues where universities establish broader international collaborations.

The two (2) students who will be in Germany until March 15, 2027, are expected to engage in rigorous academic work while serving as ambassadors for CCTU.
