SIC GHANA LTD. MANAGEMENT PAYS COURTESY CALL ON CCTU

The Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, received the Management of State Insurance Company of Ghana Limited (SIC) at the University’s Council Chamber.

The SIC delegation was led by Mr. James Agyenim-Boateng, Managing Director, supported by

Mr. Maxwell Kofi Marfo - Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Kenneth V. Acolatse – General Manager, Finance & Administration, and Mrs. Cynthia Kwarteng Tufuor – General Manager (Technical Operations).

The meeting focused on the insurance of CCTU assets, including buildings, equipment, and official vehicles, with emphasis on identifying effective ways to reduce risks and prevent potential losses. Strategies were also explored to ensure that the assets were adequately protected against unforeseen events.

Also at the meeting, insurance options available to staff, covering personal properties such as cars and houses, to enhance their security and their well-being were examined. In addition, attention was given to corporate social responsibility initiatives, highlighting how the University could benefit.

The CCTU Team, led by Prof. Emmanuel Kwaw, the Pro Vice-Chancellor, included Mr. Kwabena Owusu, Director of Finance; Mr. Paul Andoh, Director of Internal Audit; Prof. Richard Osae, Director of Research Innovation and Consultancy (DRIC); Dr. Patrick Arthur, Deputy Registrar – Directorate of Human Resource; Mr. Ebenezer Opoku Boahen, Head of Budget and Commitment Unit; and Mrs. Juliana Kyei-Barfour, Head of Payroll Unit.

After the discussions, the SIC team toured the CCTU AVIC Centre. The meeting ended successfully with both sides expressing interest in strengthening collaboration.
