CCTU ENROLMENT DRIVE TEAM VISITS UPSHS AND EDISEC
24th, April 2026
The Admission Enrolment Drive Team of Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) on April 14 and 15, 2026, paid a visit to University Practice Senior High School (UPSHS), Cape Coast and Edinaman Senior High School (EDISEC), Elmina as part of efforts to attract prospective students for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The outreach program, at both Schools, brought together final-year students who were enlightened about various academic programmes offered at CCTU, including programmes in Engineering, Applied Sciences and Technology, Applied Arts, Business and Management Studies, and Built and Natural Environment, emphasising the University’s focus on hands-on training and employability.

Mr. Felix Opare-Baako and Dr. Wilson Sarkodie, who were Team members, encouraged students to consider technical and vocational education as a viable pathway to career success. The Team also provided detailed information on admission requirements, application procedures, and available scholarship opportunities.
Students were given the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on their preferred programmes, with many expressing interests in enrolling at the University after graduation.
Authorities of UPSHS and EDISEC commended the initiative, noting that such engagements helped students to make informed decisions about their future academic pursuits.
The visit forms part of the University’s broader admission enrolment drive aimed at increasing awareness and boosting student intake for the next academic year.
