The Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening international collaboration and academic excellence by participating in a capacity-building workshop organised by the Ghanaian Europe Centre for Jobs, Migration and Development, in partnership with the European Union (EU) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

The four-day residential workshop, held at the Grand Menvic Hotel in Accra from June 1– 4, 2026, focused on enhancing the skills of Study in Europe Desk Officers (SEDOs). The training covered two key components: Erasmus+ Actions and Grant Proposal Writing, aimed at equipping participants with the tools to access educational opportunities in Europe and improve their ability to secure international funding.

Cape Coast Technical University was represented by Professor Ben Ebo Attom, Dean of the Directorate of International Programmes and Institutional Linkages. His participation highlighted CCTU’s dedication to building strong institutional linkages and expanding opportunities for students and faculty through international partnerships.

Participation in the workshop aligns with CCTU’s broader internationalisation agenda, which aims to boost the University’s global visibility and competitiveness. By equipping its representatives with advanced skills in proposal writing and knowledge of Erasmus+ opportunities, CCTU is positioning itself to attract more international collaborations and funding opportunities.
