The Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) named Ms. Gladys Egyimba Gorman as its 'Alumna of the Week' on June 16, 2026, celebrating her outstanding contributions to higher educational administration.

The announcement was made on Eagle FM 87.7 MHz by Mr. Alexander K. Azameti, Director of Public Affairs, who praised Ms. Gorman's deep dedication to institutional advancement.

Ms. Gorman has served CCTU with distinction for over 14 years. As Assistant Registrar, she provides high-level administrative support, facilitates executive decision-making, and serves as secretary to critical boards and committees.

Her commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in the following academic achievements: MSc in Public Policy and Management (2021) and Bachelor of Management Studies (2017) from the University of Cape Coast; and HND in Secretaryship & Management Studies (2008) from CCTU (then Cape Coast Polytechnic).

Ms. Gorman has influenced key University operations by serving on the Strategic Advisory Committee, the Staff Recognition & Awards Committee, and the 2026 Naming of University Building Committee.

Her expertise spans public policy, human resource management, and organisational behaviour. She is a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Administrators & Management Consultants – Ghana (CIAMC).

CCTU congratulates Ms Gladys Egyimba Gorman on this well-deserved honour, recognising her as a true model of professionalism and excellence.
