Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) has marked a significant milestone in its 40th Anniversary celebrations by donating twenty-five (25) dual desks and one hundred and fifty (150) textbooks to Ebubonko M/A Basic School in Cape Coast.

The donation, made during a ceremony on November 25, 2025, included textbooks for Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Studies, aimed at improving pupils’ learning experience.
Madam Emelia Adu, Headmistress of Ebubonko M/A Basic School, responded by welcoming the delegation and expressing joy at their visit.

Dr. Mrs. Magdalene Abakah, a member of the 40th Anniversary Planning Committee, emphasised that the gesture was a token of appreciation for the Community’s support over the years.

Prof. Kwaku Adutwum Ayim Boakye, the Vice-Chancellor of CCTU, explained that the University chose Ebubonko Basic School as a gesture of "good neighbourliness," reinforcing its commitment to contributing to local education.
The items were formally handed over to the School by Prof. Isaac Kwame Dontwi, Chairman of CCTU Governing Council. The students and staff expressed gratitude and pledged to make good use of the resources.

The event also featured an inspiring speech by Prof. Ing. Charles Emmanuel Oppon, a CCTU Professor and proud old student of Ebubonko M/A Basic School. He encouraged students to pursue excellence and urged the University to continue supporting the School.
