CCTU’S CHANCELLOR INSPECTS CAMPUS RENOVATIONS, EMPHASISES COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE

The Chancellor of Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU), Dr. James Condua Orleans-Lindsay, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, paid a visit to the University to inspect the ongoing renovation projects and other initiatives, aimed at enhancing the Institution's infrastructure and academic environment.

It is recalled that on Friday, February 28, 2025, during the 31st Matriculation ceremony to officially welcome and induct fresh students into the University, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kwaku Adutwum Ayim Boakye, highlighted the University's efforts to improve students’ life on campus. These included renovating and painting lecture halls and re-equipping the halls by procuring new tables and chairs, and installing new projectors.

Dr. Orleans-Lindsay, overflowing with enthusiasm, inspected the renovation works with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kwaku Adutwum Ayim Boakye, the Registrar, Dr. Anthony H. Turkson, the Ag. Director of Works and Physical Development, Dr. Stephen Agyefi-Mensah and some members of Management.

The Chancellor, during the visit, expressed joy and satisfaction with the progress of work and commended the workers for the good work done.  He emphasised the importance of maintaining a conducive learning environment that fostered academic excellence and innovation.

Dr. James Condua Orleans-Lindsay, an expert in sustainable real estate and construction in Ghana and beyond, took the opportunity to provide valuable insights into new projects of the University, to ensure successful completion. He reiterated CCTU's commitment to providing high-quality education and creating an environment that supported the holistic development of students.

The visit demonstrates the Chancellor's dedication to ensuring that CCTU remains a hub of academic excellence and innovation.
