HALFAST LIMITED POSSESSES CCTU’S COMMERCIAL AREA FOR STUDENTS’ HOSTEL DEVELOPMENT

In a remarkable step towards boosting students’ accommodation facilities at Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU), Management has handed over its Commercial Area project, which was stalled for years, to Halfast Limited (General Haulage and Construction Partners), through a competitive tendering process, for Students’ Hostel development.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kwaku Adutwum Ayim Boakye, on behalf of Management, handed over the site to the contractor through the University’s consultant, Architectural and Engineering Services Limited (AESL) on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

The brief ceremony was to officially transfer possession of and access to the site to the contractor for construction activities, with a contractual life span of two (2) years from December 1, 2025.

According to Halfast Limited, there would be monthly site meetings to ensure timelines were met.
