CCTU HOLDS ORIENTATION PROGRAMME FOR FRESH STUDENTS

Management of Cape Coast Technical University has organized an orientation programme for all fresh students of the University. The programme which seeks to introduce the University to fresh students took place at the University’s Ceremonial Grounds.

In opening the 2020/21 orientation programme, the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Samuel Kwame Ansah who was also the Chairman of the first session of the orientation programme, welcomed the new students and congratulated them for making the best choice by coming to the Cape Coast Technical University.

Prof. Ansah explained to the freshmen and women that having knowledge about the University and appropriate channels of communication available in the University is the surest way to a healthy campus life, hence the rational for the orientation.

He therefore urged fresh students of the University to utilize the channels put in place by Management for communication. This he explained, will assist them to get their concerns and grievances addressed in the University.

On his part, the Registrar, Dr. Francis Narh Akrono used the occasion to welcome fresh students on behalf the Vice Chancellor and Management of the University. He advised them to adhere to all COVID-19 precautionary measures put in place by Management to prevent the spread of the virus on campus.

The Orientation programme which started on Tuesday 19th January, 2021 ended Friday 22nd January, 2021. The fresh students were full of praise to management for organizing such programme to integrate them into the CCTU fraternity.
