PROFILE OF MRS. FANNY AMA DARKEY - ACTING REGISTRAR

Mrs. Fanny A. Darkey, started work as Senior Administrative Assistant in the then Cape Coast Polytechnic now Cape Coast Technical University (CCTU) in April 1998 and has risen through the administrative ranks to her current position as Deputy Registrar (Examinations) and the Acting Registrar of CCTU.

Mrs. Darkey has also served CCTU in different capacities over the years, notably as Head of Examinations Unit; Head of Academic Affairs in-charge-of Admission, Records and Examinations; Acting Head of Personnel/Welfare; and Head of General Administration.

Mrs. Darkey is a Chartered Professional Administrator and Management Consultant since October 2017. She holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Administration in Higher Education and B.Ed. degree in Home Economics with Diploma in Biology from the University of Cape Coast in 2007 and 1997 respectively.

Her professional training and work schedules at various levels of administration in the institution have equipped her adequately to be able to offer sound administrative/academic advice to the Vice Chancellor, the Registry, the Administrative Staff in the Schools and Departments, the student body and indeed the general public who interact with the University daily in diverse ways.
